Hi! My name is Skylar. I am a first-year linguistics student at the University of Pennsylvania. From hieroglyphs on clay to words on screens, language changes and evolves with us since the dawn of time. As an ILC ambassador, I’m excited to help young students discover linguistics and promote public awareness of the vital role language plays in our day-to-day lives. When I am not solving problem sets and building syntax trees, you can find me crocheting, building legos, and playing the piano in my free time.
