Ambassador Application

To verify your eligibility as an official ILC Ambassador, please complete the application form below. Your submission will be reviewed by the ILC coordinators, and successful applicants will be invited to the second stage of the selection process.

Personal Information

IMPORTANT: Make sure to write your full name (forename and surname) correctly. Do not write in capital letters (Wrong: JOHN HENRY, Correct: John Henry). This name will be displayed on the ILC website.
We recommend you be at least 14 years old.
Please select the country and city in which you will be active as an ambassador.
Please select or write down the school or university you are currently affiliated with.

Your password has to be at least eight characters long. You will need your password to log into your ambassador account: Login for Ambassador

Application Materials

This picture will be used for your personal ambassador page, public relations work, and it will be publicly visible online. Please make sure to upload a professional and high-quality picture! (See Examples )

– Format: square (same width and height; preferably 400 x 400 pixels).
– No border, no blur, and no digital altering.
– No watermarks, text, or transparency.
– No inappropriate faces, poses, symbols, or clothing.
– Not too close or too far away from the camera.
– Positive facial expression and professional posture.
Please upload a motivation letter (about one page; English language) that explains your reasons and your plans for becoming an ILC ambassador:

1. What is your main motivation and do you have prior experiences?
2. How can you inspire students in your region to explore linguistics and encourage them to participate in ILC?
3. What activities are you planning to organize as an ILC ambassador
4. How many students do you think can you reach?
