Zenteh Nkwete Fortune Jimicob is a Cameroonian accounting student, youth advocate, and founder of LinguaThread, a youth-led initiative that brings language learners together to practice, connect, and challenge themselves – using Duolingo and other free language learning tools. Her passion for languages grew into a broader curiosity about how language works, the patterns it holds, and the ways it connects people and cultures. Beyond language learning, Zenteh is involved in youth mentorship, education, and financial literacy. Through her leadership and community initiatives, she has gained experience in communication, organizing activities, and engaging young people around shared goals. As an International Linguistics Challenge Ambassador, she hopes to introduce more students in Cameroon to the fascinating world of linguistics through interactive workshops, language puzzles, and school outreach. She is especially excited to help young people discover that linguistics is not only about speaking languages, but also about curiosity, creativity, and solving problems.
