My name is Filemon Richard Mbando, a young social entrepreneur and student leader from Arusha, Tanzania, driven by the belief that empowered voices create empowered futures. I am the Founder and CEO of Changemakers Hub, where we amplify youth voices through literacy promotion and linguistic empowerment, enabling young people to seize educational opportunities and participate meaningfully in society. Through initiatives such as Books for Change, RESOAP - a soap recycling project advancing environmental justice and community-based tutoring, I work at the intersection of education, sustainability, and youth leadership. Raised by my aunt and grandmother after my parents separated when I was four, I learned resilience, responsibility, and service early in life. These experiences shaped my commitment to servant leadership, leading with humility, empathy, and action. Whether mentoring students, advocating for climate justice, or building youth-led systems for change, my mission remains clear: to transform lived challenges into platforms for learning, dignity, and opportunity across Africa.
