Hi, I'm Sadaqat and I'm a secondary school student from Nottingham in the UK. I'm really fascinated by languages and how people interact with them. I’ve grown up in the UK but my parents are from Bangladesh so I’ve always interacted with a really interesting bilingual environment. Other than that I study French and Spanish at school, but also study Mandarin Chinese outside of school. I’m currently the National Italian winner for the Anthea Bell Translation Competition! I'm really interested in politics (especially British politics) and I absolutely love the Harry Potter series. I aim to discover as much as I can about the world of linguistics and show people just how intriguing and quietly prevalent languages and linguistics are.
