My name is Sam, and I am a student from Uzbekistan with a strong passion for languages, problem-solving, and community building. Growing up in a small rural area where academic opportunities are limited, I learned early on to create my own learning environment by forming clubs, leading projects, and motivating my peers. When I discovered linguistics and the ILC, I became fascinated by how language puzzles connect logic, culture, and creativity in a way no other discipline does. At school, I have served as the leader of several clubs—including History Club and Quiz (Zakovat)—which has given me experience in organizing events, teaching younger students, and engaging large groups. Beyond school, I also run youth-focused community projects, which has strengthened my ability to communicate and inspire others. As an ILC Ambassador, I hope to introduce linguistics to students who have never encountered it before, host workshops and competitions, and help young learners in my region discover the joy of exploring language through science.
